Business hours and operations update
Hello Friends of Cut Flower Exchange!
We wanted to make a quick announcement regarding new developments in our flower world... it seems as though there are changes in the market with each passing week and we are doing our best to stay on top of the latest news!
Our physical location is still closed, but as many of you know we have been able to run weekly flower delivery specials on a limited basis for the past few weeks. We have greatly appreciated the wonderful reception we've received for the deliveries; not only has it kept us busy but will also help us recover once we are able to open our doors again. We also appreciate your patience in responses to these inquiries; we are still ironing out the kinks in working remotely most efficiently. At this time, we have capped the number of deliveries and have offered them on a first come first serve basis since we are operating with very limited staff.
In terms of availability for the next month, we have access to a short list of product from our Canadian partners. They are currently shipping via truck to our area once a week, giving us access to a blend of fresh cuts and some potted plants. Our other usual suppliers seem to be operating on a week to week basis as well but we have had the most consistent response from Canada and therefore feel most comfortable offering their inventory. We will do our best to continue to send out weekly box deliveries, as long as they are are up and running!
In the coming weeks, we hope to transition to an easy to navigate webshop that will allow you to directly purchase and pay for a flower box online, supplies allowing. Bear with us as we explore this new option; adversity offers opportunity for growth but we are looking forward to pushing into this new territory.
As a final note, please remember to check your spam or junk folders for responses from us; we have found that some of our messages have ended up flagged as junk if we are not marked as contacts in your email settings. Our apologies to anyone who may have thought your email was overlooked!
