In celebration of Juneteenth, join us as we discuss the history of grave marking in pre- and post-emancipation black communities across the United States. We will construct a beautiful memorial meadow piece, using locally grown materials and fully sustainable, compostable mechanics. This class is a perfect blend of history, horticulture, and floral design that can be integrated into modern day remembrance work. All materials and tools provided.
